10th September 2018

We are really pleased to share our initial exam results, which are the best in the Academy’s history.

As the table below shows, we have improved significantly in nearly every area. The numbers highlighted in green show where results have increased.

Ten different students gained at least one Level 9 (the highest possible grade) and twenty students gained at least one Level 8 (equivalent to an A*). Well done to all students and staff. A particular well done to Rowan Jones  who achieved five Level 9s, two Level 8s and one A* which is fantastic set of individual results.

John Stephens: It is really pleasing to see these hugely improved results. They show that the school is making really positive progress. I am delighted to see some particularly outstanding results for individual students. This year’s examination outcomes are the product of a great team effort from students, staff, parents and carers, supported by the many partner organisations that we work with. They are a great foundation for Cedar Mount to continue going from strength to strength.
